This is coming after the previous update announcing that Minister of health, Dr Chilufya and Information Minister, Mrs Dora Siliya along with other fellow Zambians had been discharged from their isolation centres.

Total cumulative number of confirmed cases in Zambia now stands at 1235, total number of recoveries stand at 1020 and total deaths at 10.

There are still mixed perceptions among Zambians about the presence of COVID-19 in the country, with some believing the PF led government is only using the pandemic as a means for gaining donations from the international community, and also due to rather confusing and inconsistent information the health authorities are thought to be releasing about the virus.
