Lord Lewis Vernon Harcourt, the man whom the Nigerian city of Port Harcourt was named after was a rapist as a well as a peadophile.
On February 24, 1922, Lord Harcourt took his own life at his London home after he faced public condemnation for his acts.
Today, Port Harcourt is one of the biggest cities in Nigeria and is known as the garden city because of its beauty.
