The West Central state of Niger has reportedly attracted and secured 4 major investment for its RUGA settlement.
The state has a 31,000 hectare span of land allocated for its planned RUGA project.
According to reports, the project which will have 300,000 resident cattle and 700 cattle farmers to work on the RUGA field has secured major investment deals from 4 major companies.
These include Hollandia, Cadbury Irish Diary, NeonAgro and Friesland Campina, makers of Peak Milk who have already acquired 10,000 hectares for local production.
