EFCC Storms Obasanjo’s Library Over €150Million Scandal As Police Assault 98 Year-Old Woman With AK47

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have visited the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, as part of the probe of ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar’s son-in-law and the 150 million euros cash-for-poll bribe scandal.

It was learnt that the investigators went to the Library to authenticate the claims by one of those under probe that he gave $140,000 (about N50 million) to a library official.

Police Attack 98-Year-Old Anambra Woman With AK-47

Policemen from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Anambra State Police Command have allegedly beaten up a 98-year-old woman, Cecilia Okpalaku of Achina in the Aguata Local Government Area of the state, over a family dispute.

“The policemen said they were looking for a document in my house but they ended up taking my granddaughter from me and assaulted me with an AK-47 rifle,” She said.
