The First lady of the country, Mrs Aisha Buhari has seemingly taken a subtle dig at Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All progressives Congress (APC), as she sent her birthday wishes to John Odigie-Oyegun, the immediate National past chairman of the ruling party.
The first lady who took to Instagram to give her birthday wishes to Oyegun, on Saturday morning, was perceived by some to have slightly used the avenue to take a dig at Oshiomhole as she referred to the former APC Chairman as the” peacemaker of our time”, amidst other encomiums she showered on him.
Her post reads:
Happy Birthday, Chief John Odigie Oyegun.
Former National Chairman of APC,
A complete gentleman,
A peacemaker and a unifying factor of our time.
Wishing you many years ahead in good health and prosperity.
Her post referring to Oyegun as being a ”peacemaker and unifying factor” was interpreted by many Nigerians to be a sub for Oshiomole.
