Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, will undergo medicals at French club, Lille, ahead of a proposed €12m deal from Belgian club, Sporting Charleroi. Osimhen’s agent Ariyo Igbayiola that the 20-year-old Nigeria international is expected to arrive in Northern France on Tuesday for his medical slated for Wednesday, after Charleroi accepted the new offer including bonuses.
“Osimhen will leave on Tuesday for France where he is expected to undergo medicals at Lille,” Igbayiola said. Osimhen is expected to sign a five-year contract with Lille should the medical run smoothly.

Osimhen spent last season on loan at Belgian side Charleroi and the club are interested in keeping the player for another, but it is unlikely that the Felice Mazzu ( head coach) and Mehdi Bayat (manager of Charleroi) are ready to outbid the French side.
The former Wolfsburg striker will replace Rafael Leao at the club. Leao is joining Italian giants AC Milan for €35m.
He scored 20 goals in 40 games across all competition in his debut season in Belgium for Sporting Charleroi.

Osimhen was listed in coach Gernot Rohr’s 25-man provisional list for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt and was further listed in the final list for the tournament. In the match for third place, he replaced the injured Odion Ighalo at half-time in the team’s 1–0 victory over Tunisia.
