Responsible parenting is an ability of parents to detect the need of happiness and desire of children and helping them to become reasonable and responsible children.

Children are absolute gifts and a blessing to their parents, hence their safety should be a priority, most parents would admit that parenting is not the easiest job in the world but that it is worth every bit of the experience that comes along with it, especially when you see your kids happy and healthy. There are no guidelines  that covers the art of parenting.

However, a Nigerian man on twitter with the username @onyeka18  has revealed how he dealt with his 12 year old son for mocking a kid who wore rubber sandals.

The father stated that after his son mocked the boy, he seized all his sneakers and fancy shoes and locked then up. He bought his two rubber shoes, a pair for church and the other for school.‘He must have sense by force.” he said.

He explained that his son couldn’t believe it and thought it was a joke until his new rubber shoes arrived. He also stated that this will go on for 30 days or more.He said “My son mocked a boy on rubber sandals last friday, so yesterday I bought him two rubber shoes, one for church,the other for school and locked up all his sneakers and fancy shoes, he must have sense by force #responsibleparenting .

Children are blessing given to parents and therefore have the responsibility to cater for them, until when they have become physically, mentally, financial and psychologically matured to handle their own affairs. However, due to the natural connection parents have with their children, they are in a better position to correct, direct, discipline and advise them in love. This natural bonding makes parenting task much easier as they will not. Also, the position of parents allows them to better control and manage the behaviour of their children from infancy until they grow up, which is very vital in nurturing kids.
