NFF Close To Unveiling New Super Eagles, Head Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation says a new Head Coach for the Super Eagles will soon be officially unveiled.

In a release announcing new coaches for the various male national teams, the federation revealed that they are in the process of his engagement and contract signing.

According to reports, Jose Peseiro, who was dropped after AFCON for Eguavoen, will likely return.

The NFF Executive Committee has also approved the recommendation of the Technical & Development Sub-Committee for the new Head Coach to work with Nigerian coaches.

Salisu Yusuf will be the 1st Assistant based on availability from his other jobs.

Ex-International and Enyimba coach Finidi George will be the 2nd Assistant, while Usman Abdallah as the 3rd Assistant.


Furthermore, Eboboritse Uwejamomere will be the Match Analyst, and another former Nigeria international, Ike Shorounmu, will be the Goalkeepers’ Trainer.

Meanwhile, the NFF has approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development Sub-Committee for the appointment of Salisu Yusuf as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles B, as well as the U23 (Olympics) team.

Also, Ladan Bosso retains his position as Head Coach of the U20 Boys.
He will work with former U17 Head Coach Fatai Amao, Oladuni Oyekale, Jolomi Atune Alli, and Baruwa Olatunji Abideen (Goalkeepers’ Trainer).
