Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has made a huge claim after the Bundesliga champions were drawn against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
The short ceremony held in Nyon, Switzerland saw group runners-up Real Madrid (ESP), Tottenham (ENG), Atalanta (ITA), Atlético (ESP), Napoli (ITA), Dortmund (GER), Lyon (FRA), Chelsea (ENG) paired against group winners PSG (FRA), Bayern (GER), Man City (ENG), Juventus (ITA), Liverpool (ENG), Barcelona (ESP), Leipzig (GER) and Valencia (ESP).
The World Cup winner said after the draw: ‘I feel good about this tie, but obviously Chelsea have players that can hurt us.
‘It’s nice to see three German teams in the round of 16, and I hope the same can be said for the quarter finals.’
The round of 16 matches will begin on 18-19 February and 25-26 February, with the second legs concluding the ties on 10-11 March and 17-18 March. The quarter-final draw is set for 20 March, 2020.
