VIDEO: HT: Brazil 0-1 Nigeria – 3 things you missed from the first half

The Super Eagles lead the Selecao of Brazil 1-0 at half time in an international friendly at the Singapore National Stadium.

Joe Aribo gave the Eagles the lead with a superb effort after a fine line of play by the Nigerian side.

Here are some of the things you may have missed from the first 45 minutes.

Neymar injured

The Brazil superstar started the game but lasted barely 15 minutes after appearing to pull his hamstring and was replaced by Philippe Coutinho. As you would have guessed, the former Barcelona star had no impact on the game before being replaced.

Uzoho in good form

Much-maligned Francis Uzoho appears to have regained his position as the first-choice goalkeeper for the Super Eagles after losing his place to Daniel Akpeyi at the Africa Cup of Nations and just as he did against Ukraine in the last friendly, he again made a couple of fine saves in the first half here to maintain Nigeria’s lead.

Joe Aribo looking good

After making his debut against Ukraine and scoring, the 24-year old continued from where he stopped by impressing in the first half here and capping it with a well-taken goal.
