Nigerian first choice goalkeeper Francis Uzoho sustained an injury in the second half of the international friendly game between Nigeria and Brazil.

Uzoho was having a good game before picking up the injury while trying to save a goal bound header from Casemiro.

Francis Uzoho appears to have regained his position as the first-choice goalkeeper for the Super Eagles after losing his place to Daniel Akpeyi at the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON 2019 in Egypt and just as he did against Ukraine in the last friendly, he again made a couple of top drawer saves in the first half to maintain Nigeria’s lead.

He was subsequently replaced by Maduka Okoye who made his official debut for Nigeria
