Tammy Abraham has spoken of his delight at being called to the England senior squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
Also invited to the England squad is Fikayo Tomori, who along with Abraham, have had impressive starts to the season with Chelsea.
The invite means both players could make their competitive senior debut for England if they feature in any of those games, thereby making them ineligible to represent Nigeria.
Sharing a photo of himself, Tomori, Mason Mount and Ross Barkley – who also has a Nigerian heritage – Abraham tweeted: “Always proud to get the @England call up. Congrats boys ?”

Prior to be being named in the England squad for the games, Abraham and Tomori have been in the news with speculations over their international future. But any hopes of them representing Nigeria will be vanquished should they feature in any of those games.
Besides Nigeria and England, Tomori is also eligible to play for Canada and has previously represented the North American country at the U20s.
