Bournemouth are reportedly in discussions with Liverpool over the possibility of signing Harry Wilson on loan. The Daily Mail claim Bournemouth are leading the chase for Wilson after David Brooks was ruled out for three months through injury.
Brooks will be ruled out until at least November after suffering an ankle injury during pre-season and Eddie Howe is looking for a replacement. It’s understood there are other teams interested in Wilson, who was on loan with Derby last season.
Wilson has featured for the Reds during pre-season, scoring against Lyon last week, but Klopp admitted after the game he could be sent out on loan again. “We are in constant conversations, that’s clear. We have to do the right thing for us and for the boy,” Klopp said.
“He is obviously a really good player and I was really happy with him in the whole pre-season.” Wilson, 22, has had loan spells at Crewe, Hull and Derby, where he hit 15 goals in 40 league appearances as the Rams reached the play-off final.
