Mkhitaryan balloons penalty for Arsenal in pre-season win (VIDEO)

Arsenal beat Angers 4-3 on penalties after they came from behind to draw 1-1 at the Stade Raymond-Kopa on Wednesday. Henrikh Mkhitaryan was the only player to miss an Arsenal spot-kick during the shootout, but former midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide saw his decisive effort saved to decide the fixture.

Reiss Nelson supplied the equaliser for Arsenal not long after half-time and netted his first pre-season goal from close range to spare the Gunners’ blushes.

 

Mkhitaryan missed a spot-kick during the shootout, but former Arsenal midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide saw his decisive effort saved by Emiliano Martinez to decide the fixture for the Gunners – 4-3 on penalties.
