Real Madrid continue their poor run in the pre-season after dull 1-0 loss to Premier League side Tottenham in the Audi Cup on Tuesday. Harry Kane’s first-half strike at the Allianz Arena for Tottenham kept Los Blancos without a win in pre-season. The Audi Cup is a mini pre-season competition that involves just four teams; Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Tottenham, and Fenerbache.

Kane scored the only goal in the game after Marcelo’s error. Stops from Erik Lamela and Tanguy Ndombele followed in quick succession, only for Marcelo to thank his goalkeeper by inadvertently playing Kane through on goal for a cool 22nd-minute finish.

Each team will be back in action on Wednesday, with their opponents dependent on the outcome of Tuesday’s other semi-final between host Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce.

Tottenham will then host Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup before opening their Premier League campaign at home to newly-promoted Aston Villa while Real Madrid will begin their LaLiga campaign at Celta Vigo on August 17.
