Alex Iwobi had another cause to celebrate other than the bronze medal win at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles as the 23-year-old Arsenal forward’s sister, Marie, bagged a first class in Mathematics from university.

The good news was revealed by the Nigeria international’s father, Chuka Iwobi, via a post on social media just a day after the Super Eagles star helped the national team to a 1-0 win over Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles at the AFCON third-fourth playoff match.

“So many reasons to thank the Lord … My Daughter Marie made a First Class in Maths with Actuarial Science,” the senior Iwobi wrote on social media as he expressed his delight at his daughter’s achievement.
