[VIDEO] Madagascar 1-0 Nigeria HT: Balogun error hands Barea lead over Super Eagles

The Super Eagles of Nigeria trail 1-0 to Madagascar in their final Group B clash at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. The Barea of Madagascar took the lead in the 13th minute after Lalaina Nomenjanahary capitalized on an error from Leon Balogun to score their fourth goal at the tournament.

Gernot Rohr made five changes to the side that defeated the National Elephants of Guinea on Wednesday after the Super Eagles secured their ticket in the knockout stages of the competition with a 1-0 victory.

Nigeria need a point to secure top spot in the group but found themselves behind early on in the game after conceding for the first time in the tournament.

Nigeria have an array of stars on the bench who can come in to change the result of the game. Alex Iwobi, Henry Onyekuru, Paul Onuachu, Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon are some of the stars who can come in the second half to help Nigeria get the much needed goal.

Meanwhile, Guinea have taken the lead against the Swallows of Burundi in the other group B game. Burundi are down to 10 men and find themselves on the brink of exit from the tournament after losing their previous games. Madagascar currently lie on top of Group B as things stand.
