Arsenal prepare for signing of 22-year-old goalkeeper, start negotiations with Italian giants

Arsenal have opened talks with Inter over a possible deal for Ionut Radu, according to the Daily Mirror. The Gunners are on the lookout for a new number two after Petr Cech’s retirement and the 22-year-old Romanian goalkeeper could be available this summer.

The agent of the Inter Milan goalkeeper Ionut Radu has acknowledged that Arsenal are interested in signing his client during the ongoing transfer window. Speaking to FC InterNews, agent Crescenzo Cecere revealed that there are many clubs watching the progress of his client and that includes the north London giants.
He said: “There are so many teams interested, including Lyon. Recently, there was also a survey from Arsenal. He is a very interesting prospect since he is growing a lot, from all points of view.”
