The agent of the Inter Milan goalkeeper Ionut Radu has acknowledged that Arsenal are interested in signing his client during the ongoing transfer window. Speaking to FC InterNews, agent Crescenzo Cecere revealed that there are many clubs watching the progress of his client and that includes the north London giants.
He said: “There are so many teams interested, including Lyon. Recently, there was also a survey from Arsenal. He is a very interesting prospect since he is growing a lot, from all points of view.”
Radu has made just the solitary appearance for the Nerazzurri to date but he has earned sufficient experience in the past two seasons on loan. He made 33 appearances for Genoa on a temporary basis last term.
The Gunners are expected to work on a limited £40m budget during the summer transfer window after failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Radu, who spent this season on loan at Genoa, is also a target for Lyon, according to his agent Crescenzo Cecere.
