Manchester United appear to have completed their first signing of the summer with Ajax youngster Dillon Hoogewerf posting a video on social media showing himself in a United top. Hoogewerf is set to join Manchester United after he decided to reject the proposal of signing professional terms with the Dutch club.

He is due to move to Old Trafford on July 1 with the 16-year-old having impressed for Ajax U17s last season.  He is considered to be one of the most promising prospects in their youth set up. “Dillon has indicated last week that he will leave the club.” Saïd Ouaali head of Ajax’s youth academy recently said.
“He is leaving for a foreign club. We wish him a lot of success and know that we have done everything to keep him. He may ultimately make the choice and choose a foreign adventure.”

Hoogewerf is expected to begin his life at United in the U18s but Red Devils fans want another signing from Ajax.
Matthijs De Ligt has been linked with a move to Old Trafford after helping the Dutch club reach the Champions League semi-finals. And United fans now want De Ligt to join the club. One wrote on social media: “Announce De Ligt”
Another added: “i hope he brought de ligt in his suitcase when arriving in manchester”, And a fellow Red Devils fan posted: “De ligt next”
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had revealed he wanted to bring young players to the club.
