Following the exclusion of hat trick hero Lucas Moura from the starting lineup, fans of Tottenham Hotspur have called on manager Mauricio Pochettino, to bring on the Brazilian, while a pitch invader and Mohammed Salah’s record for the second fasted goal in the history of the UEFA Champions League headlined the opening period at the Wanda Metropolitano.
A moment after Salah’s 5th of the campaign, following Sissoko’s ball handling in the area, a female pitch invader was seen running half-naked. The goal puts Liverpool who is aiming for the 6th UCL trophy in the driving seat.
In an opening period that has seen Kane do less, fans of the north London side have gone on social media to demand the immediate inclusion of Lucas Moura who has been in fine form in recent weeks. But it remains to be seen if their calls will be heeded by the manager.

Lucas Moura should hand in a transfer request. How you scoring a HAT TRICK in the semi and not starting?

Moura has been unfairly treated here though.

I’m sure they’re just playing him for the name! His style of play is getting on the end of crosses, and they’ve put in 1 cross!? Surely Moura is the better decision for the way they’re playing?

We recovered well from that early setback and need to do better in the final third. Full backs need to push up. Lucas Moura needs to come on. #UCLFinal19 #COYS #THFC pic.twitter.com/uOH30XbROA

Egyptian hero Mohammed Salah entered the UEFA Champions League record books as he scored the second fastest goal in the final against Tottenham Hotspur at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.
Salah agonisingly missed the majority of last season’s final following a shoulder injury which happened after a heavy collision with Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and the Los Blancos went on to win the match 3-1.
Reds fans still referred to that moment as one that caused them the match and argued that if the former Chelsea star had been on the pitch longer, Liverpool could’ve been crowned European Champions for the sixth time.
The argument of the Reds fans seem to have been proven right as it took Salah just one minute, 48 seconds to score against Spurs in the 2018/19 Champions League final. The Egyptian powered a penalty past French World Cup winner, Hugo Lloris after Moussa Sissoko was adjudged to have handed the ball inside the penalty area, trying to stop a Saido Mane cross.
According to OptaJoe: “01:48 – Mohamed Salah’s opener for Liverpool is the second fastest goal in a Champions League final, only behind Paolo Maldni (00:50) for AC Milan versus Liverpool in 2005. Blocks. #UCLfinal
