Mesut Ozil is currently preparing to feature for Arsenal in the Europa League final on May 29 against Premier League rivals, Chelsea, at the Baku Olympic Stadium. But the Gunners star took out time to make the day of a young fan, Callum.
In what was a pleasant surprise for Callum who suffers from a medical condition, he met up with Ozil at the midfielder’s home in London and spent time with the player, playing some football and taking photos with his club favourite.
The Arsenal star then posted a clip of his time with Callum on social media along with the caption: “It was great to surprise my mate Callum at my house ? Always enjoy our special time together.”

It is not the first time Ozil has made the day of a young Arsenal fan, having sent an autographed jersey to a Kenyan boy earlier this year after reaching out to a journalist who posted the story of the boy who idolises the Gunners star.
Ozil will be hoping to make the hearts of more Arsenal fans pump with joy by helping the Gunners to the Europa League title in just over a week’s time.
Arsenal will be appearing in a first European cup final since the 2006 Champions League final which saw the Gunners lose 2-1 to Barcelona in Paris.
Will Ozil be able to inspire the Gunners to Europa League victory over their London rivals?
