As LaLiga Santander’s top side visits the division’s bottom club, Ernesto Valverde is using the opportunity to rest a number of his key players as Valverde opt for Senegalese star. Barcelona face Manchester United on Tuesday and do not want to run any risks, especially when they hold a nine-point league advantage. Lionel Messi, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Sergi Roberto have been rested while Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez are out through suspension.

This gives a chance for a number of squad players like Kevin-Prince Boateng and Malcom to shine up front while youngsters Moussa Wague, Jean-Clair Todibo and Riqui Puig are handed their first league starts.
