The attention of the African football fans heads, at 8 p.m. on Friday, towards the Pyramids area to watch the 2019 AFCON Draw Ceremony ,the 32nd edition, which will be hosted by Egypt during the period from June 21 to July 19.
The Organizing Committee of the 2019 AFCON, headed by Hany Abu Reida, in coordination with CAF, prepared a special program for the Ceremony in order to be presented in the best way.

What is the program of the organizing committee for the Draw?
Mohamed Fadl, the tournament’s director, announced the outline of the draw and said that it would begin by playing the Egyptian national anthem and the CAF anthem, then the speech of the CAF president and the Egyptian Football Association president.

What are the most prominent names invited to attend the ceremony?
Many names like: The legend of Côte d’Ivoire Yaya Toure, Moroccan star Mostafa Haggi, Nigerian legend Emmanuel Amunike, Senegalese icon El Hadj Diouf, Cameroon’s historical defender Rigobert Sung, as well as many football stars in Egypt and the world.
Who will attend from Nigeria?
On the Nigerian level, the CAF has invited Emmanuel Amunike, former Super Eagles forward who is also the current head coach of the Taifa Stars of Tanzania. Also, Super Eagles current boss Gernot Rohr would also be present for the draws.

Rohr have led two African teams – Gabon in 2012 and Niger Republic in 2013 to the previous editions of the African Cup of Nations. Nigeria would be the third side he is leading to the tournament.
The Organizing Committee also invited all Egyptian football stars and coaches who won the African title in 1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010.
The invitations are to be accepted by Mimi Sherbini, Taha Ismael, Hassan Shehata, Gamal Abdel Hamid, Shawki Gharib, Hamada Sedki, Ahmed Soliman and Alaa Nabil.
From the next generations, Emad Meteb, Mohamed Shawki, Nader El Sayed, Tarek Mostafa, Hazem Emam, Abdel Sattar Sabry, Hosni Abd Rabo and Amr Zaki. The Mexican coach Javier Aguirre, Egyptian national team coach, will attend next to Ehab Lehita, the Pharaohs’ team director.

When will African Nations Cup and Mascot tickets be presented?
The tournament tickets are scheduled to be presented on April 15-20 through the Egypt FA’s official website, and tournament director Mohamed Fadl revealed that the tournament Mascot is scheduled to be announced by the end of April.

The African Football Confederation (CAF) revealed the final classification of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON). The classification came as follows:
POT 1: Egypt – Cameroon – Senegal – Tunisia – Nigeria – Morocco
