Funny news wrap: Ozil prefers coat throwing to playing well for Arsenal, PSG star breaks an unwanted record in the history of football, Same old Costa- See juicy details

Arsenal star, Mesut Ozil and Unai Emery don’t seem to like each other as the German midfielder prefers throwing jacket at his coach rather than playing well for his team. However, during Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat at Everton on Sunday, it appears the German had it in for Emery’s opposite number – Toffees boss Marco Silva.

As the Gunners pushed for an equaliser following Phil Jagielka’s early strike, Gunners boss Emery hauled the playmaker off in the 74th minute. Ozil, who actually captained the Gunners at the start of the game, reluctantly trudged off, naturally disappointed at having his game cut short but what he did when he sat down was shocking.

He sat on the bench and as Emery and Silva became embroiled in a heated discussion on the touchline, Ozil appeared to launch the coat in the direction of Silva. The jacket did not hit Silva or the Arsenal boss as neither reacted to Ozil’s actions.

However, this latest move by Ozil could land him in very hot water internally. Below you can see footage of the shocking incident and also how fans descended on him.

PSG star breaks and unwanted record! Eric Maxim ChoupoMoting‘s howler arguably the worst miss in the history of football

Paris Saint-Germain had a chance to win the Ligue 1 title on Sunday and were it not for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, they very well might have. The Cameroonian made a truly inexplicable mistake in the 28th minute to deny his side a goal Needing a win to clinch the French championship, PSG could only draw 2-2 with Strasbourg at Parc des Princes.

Choupo-Moting did open the scoring in the 13th minute but the forward more than made up for that later in the first half with a truly inexplicable moment. Christopher Nkunku was played in behind the Strasbourg defence and chipped over the onrushing goalkeeper. What happened next defied belief.

Choupo-Moting chased down the ball and, in attempting to put the ball in the net, inadvertently kept the ball out when it also would have gone in without a touch. That miss would prove costly as Strasbourg scored two goals later in the first half, making Thilo Kehrer’s late goal only an equaliser rather than a title-clinching winner.

After the game, Choupo-Moting could only apologise for his moment of madness.

“It’s a shame because we had a lot of opportunities. The fans were still behind us so it hurts,” the Cameroonian told Canal+. “The goal had a good effect on me. Considering the other shot, at first, I thought it was a pass for me, then I was offside. “It was really fast, I’m sorry. It’s a shame not winning at home because it’s always better.”

Same old Costa! Sent off after just 28 minutes of play against Barcelona

Diego Costa could be banned for up to eight games for reportedly insulting referee Jesus Gil Manzano’s mother in Atletico Madrid’s defeat to Barcelona. The Atletico Madrid striker could be out for the rest of the season following his furious outburst at the referee over the weekend. The striker was sent off after 28 minutes against the Catalan side on Saturday after a furious tirade at the referee after believing he was fouled.

The Spain international with angry with the referee’s decision, and he launched toward Manzano’s face while making his thoughts known. This led to a straight red card with the player eventually being escorted by his international team-mate Gerard Pique after he initially refused to leave the pitch.

The game was tied 0-0 at the time, with Diego Simeone opting to bring on Angel Correa to replace Santiago Arias in order to gain a result following Costa’s sending off. However, it didn’t succeed with goals from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez securing a 2-0 win for Barcelona.
