Fenerbahce has made contact with Chelsea over a move for Nigerian Victor Moses who has missed out on his position for the London club.
the Out-of-favoured striker earlier rejected offers from other European teams, due to reasons stating that the Nigerian International wants to keep a continue with English football and also keep a close watch on this growing family as well.
However, Fenerbahce is still waiting to hear Victor Moses’s decision over whether he’s interested in moving to the Turkish Super Lig side in the January transfer window. The Yellow-Navy Blues are looking to sign a defender, two wingers and a striker before the transfer window closes for business and the former Nigeria international tops their wish list for his position.
According to Fanatik, Fenerbahce has reached an agreement with Chelsea for the signing of Moses but the stumbling block to the deal is that the Nigerian’s priority is to remain in England. Fenerbahce’s Director of Football Damien Comolli is working hard to persuade the 28-year-old to accept the offer from the club. Moses has been left out in the cold since Maurizio Sarri was appointed coach of the Blues and has played only 26 minutes in the Premier League this season. His current contract runs out at the end of the 2020-2021 season.
Moses has earlier quitted the Nigerian National team in August 2018, due to family reasons. but might be convived by the NFF president Mr. Amaju Pinnick as the Super Eagles look for experience to help the team in the coming AFCON tournament in Egypt. Gernot Rohr has succeeded in bringing Mike Obi back to rtthe team but Victor Moses are still in doubt.
