The 26-year-old Vela spent six and a half years in La Liga with Real Sociedad, but currently plays in MLS with Los Angeles – Vela netted 15 times with 12 assists from 31 matches for Los Angeles in the Major League Soccer Spanish champions Barcelona are ready to make Mexican star Carlos Vela their top target in the ongoing winter transfer window.
