Chelsea and Tottenham set to go for AC Milan star midfielder

According to reports in Italy, Chelsea and Tottenham are set to battle it out for AC Milan Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie. According to Calciomercato, the Serie A giants will consider selling Franck Kessie to Tottenham or Chelsea for the right price because of their failure to comply with FFP rules.

Kessie has become one of the rossoneri’s most important players over the past two seasons ever since he arrived from Atalanta in the summer of 2017. While he is on an initial two-year long deal at the San Siro, the club will sign him on a permanent basis in the upcoming summer.

Calciomercato’s Federico Zanon understands that AC Milan could be open to selling the Ivorian, with Tottenham and Chelsea interested in him. They are having a tough time sticking to FFP rules and if an offer for about 45 million euros arrives, they will sell the midfielder.

Image result for KessieSpurs and Chelsea have tried to understand and know the possible margin for negotiation, with Chinese side Beijing Guoan also interested in the player.  Milan don’t really intent to sell him this January, but they could consider it if a big offer arrives. They are intent on making profit out of the deal that they have paid about 28 million euros for.
