Jose Mourinho of getting back into management has suffered a huge blow after Inter Milan sporting director played down rumours Piero Ausilio linking him to the club. Mourinho was sacked as the Manchester United manager yesterday after the Red Devils were left languishing at sixth in the Premier League, following a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.

Mourinho has again been linked with Inter, but Ausilio was recently talking at the 2018 Manager of the Year awards and he said: “We are subject to the results, the esteem for him is regardless of the future of Inter which has a great assurity of. We are going forward with Spalletti, we are building the future with him.”

The former Porto manager is now odds on to become the next manager of the Portuguese national team, with the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich touted to be his next destinations. The analysts at Sisal Matchpoint state that the likelihood of Jose joining Portugal as his next job is 3.50 and that’s the highest possibility they have stated for Jose’s next possible job.

The probability of him taking over at Real Madrid stands at 5.00, with both Inter and Bayern Munich at 12.00, as things stand.
