Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo can’t wait to play in his first Madrid derby

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has admitted he can wait to experience his first Madrid when Leganes take on Getafe tonight.  On the back of a loss and a goalless draw in their last two meetings with the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez’ outfit, the Cucumber Growers will be aiming to claim victory over their rivals.

They are on a three-game winning run and are placed ninth in the league log, having garnered 20 points from 14 games. And Omeruo who joined the side in the summer on loan from Chelsea has taken to the social media to express his readiness to help Mauricio Pellegrino’s men continue their impressive form.

“We don’t stop, derby game tomorrow,” Omeruo wrote on Instagram.

Omeruo has made seven league games for Leganes, helping them to keep three clean sheets.
