UCL: Barcelona Releases Squad To Face PSV With Top Star Missing Out

Ernesto Valverde has chosen 21 players in his Barcelona squad for the Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven in Holland on Wednesday with one of their major star Luis Suarez missing out of the squad after reportedly being injured, but the Blaugrana will welcome back Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho, after the duo recovered from their respective knocks.

The Uruguayan forward will undergo stem cell treatment on an injury to his right knee and the Dutch goalkeeper has a small muscle tear in his right leg, and will be out of action for two to three weeks after experiencing discomfort in the warmup before the game against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Given the injury crisis that is plaguing the Catalan side, five youth team players will also travel: Miranda, Riqui Puig, Inaki Pena, Chumi and Jokin. Barcelona have already secured their passage to the Champions League knockout stages and travel to Eindhoven with the intention of winning the group.

The full list is as follows: Ter Stegen, Semedo, Pique, Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Denis Suarez, Coutinho, Messi, Dembele, Malcom, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Munir, Arturo Vidal, Umtiti, Carles Alena, Miranda, Riqui Puig, Inaki Pena, Chumi and Jokin.

Will Barcelona miss Suarez against PSV or they have a better replacement for him?
