Worshipers Attack Govt officials, Journalists, Police At Lagos Mosque
Some worshipers at Agege Central Mosque (Hausa Community) in Agege attacked a combined team of Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, (LASEPA) and Lagos State Safety Commission, journalists and police officers.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night when the team went out for monitoring and enforcement.
The team had earlier visited and sealed off a warehouse of Jumia, an online marketing store for contravening the lockdown order by the Federal government.
3 Killed In Fresh Plateau Attack
Three persons were killed on Tuesday night by suspected gunmen in Ancha village of Bassa local government area of Plateau state.
The spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Ubah Gabriel, who confirmed the incident said “Three persons were killed in the attack” adding that investigation into the incident was ongoing to arrest the perpetrators of the incident.
COVID-19: How Nine Confirmed Cases In Osun State Entered Nigeria
Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has claimed the nine new coronavirus patients in Osun state entered into the country by road from Benin Republic.
Ehanire made this disclosure at a media briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.
The minister said the patients were originally coming from Cote d’Ivoire and had passed through Benin Republic.
He said the vehicle carrying several people was intercepted and the passengers were isolated and tested.
COVID-19: Driver Who Tested Positive In Niger On The Run

A Commercial Driver who has tested positive to the pandemic COVID-19 has escaped from the Isolation Centre in Bida, Niger State and now on the run.
Niger State Commissioner of Health and Hospital services, Dr Mohammed Makunsidi has, therefore, declared him wanted and that a special team has been raised by the government to fetch him out.
