The rate of frustration is growing everyday in the land and although nothing has been mentioned about the rate of mental health cases in Nigeria, it may be a area the health section needs to focus on in these times.
Recently in Benue, the police arrested a man, John Depuun, for allegedly killed his nine-month-old daughter and he claimed that God ordered him to carry out the unholy act.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at Mbagur, Shangev- Tiev in Konshisha Local Government. Police spokesman Moses Yamu confirmed the incident. He said: “The man has been arrested. Investigation is on to unravel the motive behind the killing.”

According to report in The Nation, the man used a sharp knife to kill his daughter, cutting her neck. He reportedly claimed that God in a dream ordered him to do so. According to the suspect, God instructed him to use his daughter for sacrifice.
