Mothers they say are irreplaceable and one cannot seem to imagine the thought of ever losing one. Sadly many today have watched their precious mums go and still remember the trauma they had to go through. Joining the list of those who still mourn their late mothers is Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson.

 

In a recent post she shared on her Instagram page, the actress went down memory lane as she remembered her late mum who departed planet earth on May 23rd 2018. She narrated how her husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie had announced the death of her beloved mother to her and how difficult it was for her to come to terms with the news of her death.

Mercy Johnson clearly stated that she broke down the moment she saw her mother’s foot sticking out on a stretcher at the mortuary and wished she could turn back the hands of time to share her joyous moments with her mother again. See her touching post below:

In Nigeria today, several celebrities have mourned the loss of someone close to their hearts. One of the tragic cases that shook fans was the news of the death of the wife of actor, Chris Attoh who was murdered in Maryland, USA.

Annie Idibia wasn’t left out as well as she lost her father to the cold hands of death. Popular singer, Adekunle Gold also had cause to shed tears after losing his beloved father in May 2019.

Still on deaths, veteran Nollywood producer, Emem Isong lost her father to the cold hands of death and then shortly after that, a popular movie director and cinematographer identified as Mr Henry kicked the bucket.
