It’s not every day we get to see some of our favourite Nollywood actresses come together to take a photo, let alone recreate a picture that was taken more than a decade ago.

 

When it comes to listing out veteran actresses who have been in Nollywood for quite a long while, names like Omotola Jalade, Ini Edo, Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic and Uche Jombo are sure to feature in this list.

These actresses who have been rocking the movie industry for over 15 years decided to come together to commemorate their years of friendship, work and companionship. But even more, they wanted to celebrate a movie called Girls Cot.

In casual, alluring beach wears, the veteran acts had a blissful time and recreated several photos together. The likes of Ini Edo and Uche Jombo shared photos from the reunion on their Instagram page.

It would not be wrong to say that the latter photo was a recreation of one taken a long time ago. In the recreated picture, Ini Edo, Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic and Uche Jombo posed together in the same position as they did years ago.

In other related gist,  Ufuoma McDermott sometime in March took to her page to share photos of herself having a wow time with Chioma Akpotha and Omoni Oboli during a weekend getaway. The trio usually known as the actress squad have never failed to melt the hearts of people with their togetherness. The only problem here is one of them is missing.

The one person that was missing from the squad was Uche Jombo. The actress together with Ufuoma, Omoni and Chioma make up the fantastic four and it is rare to find any of them missing from the group.

However, the almost impossible happened as, during such an all-important get together as this, Uche Jombo was missing. Alongside the beautiful photos shared, Ufuoma also added a caption that showed just how much fun she and the girls had.

But then, she did not mention Uche Jombo’s name in the least. Rather, her post centered on the ‘naughty’ thing that Omoni did while they were eating out together. See her post below:

“We had a quick weekend getaway. It was very apt and necessary. See me and Chioma eating and giggling jejely…. za oza person begging for food is abusing our magnitude of laugh. I will just disgrace you and tell them what happened now.”

Many fans reacted to the absence of Uche Jombo’s from this lush celebration of friendship. Apparently, they were not happy that one member was missing from the fantastic four. See their reactions below:

Earlier on, Ini Edo had also taken to throwing shade on Omoni Oboli after she failed to attend Uche Jombo’s movie premiere. In fact, the actress called the lady a fake friend.
