The actor’s wife was pronounced dead before police arrived at the scene of the crime. The shooter reportedly  fled the scene immediately. Bettie reportedly tried to run away, but the gunman followed her firing at her multiple times, with at least one shot fatally hitting her.

“Police were searching for a gunman who fatally shot a woman in the head in the parking lot of a Maryland office building Friday,” said the news outlet.“The woman, identified as 44-year-old Bettie Jenifer of Bowie, had left the office in the 6300 blocks of Ivy Lane and was walking to her car when a man armed with a handgun approached her, the Greenbelt police department said.”

As earlier mentioned, in their reactions to the story, some social media users concluded that Chris Attoh killed Bettie Jenifer. The

social media Investigators had argued that the actor had deleted his photos with his late wife on social media a week before the

incident for whatever reasons best known to him and some of his posts before the time of her death indicated that things were

not going fine with the couple.

In a following development, it was revealed that the actor has reportedly jetted off to Maryland, after receiving the news of his wife’s death. Attoh was said to have been on a movie set in Los Angeles but had to cancel the project in a bid to fly down to Maryland.

Attoh, according to sources, is overwhelmed by the heartbreaking news. He has earlier given a hint that all may not be well between him and the deceased after he deleted all her photos from his social media pages. This sad news is coming 5 days after the actor had made shocking moves against her on Instagram. In the entertainment industry, the love lives of celebrities is always in the spotlight as fans are the first to know if anything goes wrong in their different unions.

Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh, who was previously married to Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite, for a bit more than a year seemed to find love again after he wedded his late American-based beau. Attoh and Jenifer tied the knot at a ceremony in October 2018, shortly after his divorce.

However, some fans started speculating that there might be trouble in his new paradise after it was noticed that the actor no longer had photos of Betty Jennifer, on his Instagram profile. The actor had previously shared several loved up photos of himself with Betty on the page but the photos are no longer there.

Recall that the actor had previously sparked rumors that all was not well between him and Jenifer after he deleted all her photos from his social media page. Many on social media alleged that the two had broken up, but none of them confirmed or denied the story. As at the time of compiling this report, there has been no update on the development on the actor’s social media pages.
