Many Nigerian celebrities have used their various platforms to fight against domestic violence especially as it concerns women. Singing star, 2baba, has once again reaffirmed his position on the subject of hitting one’s wife.

It would be recalled that the legendary musician and his heartthrob, Annie Idibia, had ruffled up social media with a series of post that had come up on their individual social media pages.

Legit.ng had gathered a report in which the celebrity singer had issued a public apology to his darling wife, and come back to retract his apology, saying that he was not asking for anyone’s forgiveness.

In an Instagram post that surfaced online, a particular user had queried the musician, asking if what she heard about him was true. She asked if he truly laid his hands on his wife to beat her.

 

She said: “So is it true baby. What I am hearing that you beat my sunshine to darkness. I am talking of @annieidibia!” The celebrity singer had in turn responded by saying he could never try it.

It is great to see that despite all odds, resorting to domestic violence is not one of the possible course of actions that the singer would ever contemplate.
