British Nigerian actress Diana Yekinni, best known for being the maiden winner of the Annual GIAMA Screen Icon Search Competition in 2012, is pregnant! She shared the exciting news on Instagram with a simple caption that read “God is Good”. The actress, who has featured in movies like “Ije” and “Lunch Time Heroes”, has been very private about her personal life. Congrats to Diana and her partner!
Diana Yekinni is a fast-rising Nollywood actress, popular for her roles in movies like Royal Arts Academy’s ‘Lagos Cougars,’ and the multi-award-winning ‘IJE.’

1. Yekini is a Nigerian-British native, who emerged the winner of the 1st Annual GIAMA – Screen Icon Search (SIS) Competition.
2. Diana made her film debut in 2009 with a role in the award-winning ‘IJE’ alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade. Yekinni started acting at the age of 5 and she hopes to continue acting until the age of 85.
3. The actress earned her BA in Theatre from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
4. Since moving to Nigeria in 2013, Diana has stared in EbonyLife TV drama ‘A New You,’ ‘All That Glitters,’ ‘SaroThe Musical’, ‘Lagos Cougars,’ ‘Lunch Time Heroes.’
5. The talented actress is also a trained tap dancer. Diana studied theatre and dance at the Brit School of Performing Arts in London, and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
6. August 28, 2015, is the birthday of fast-rising Nollywood actress Diana Yekinni who was born in South London, England, United Kingdom to a father from Lagos, Nigeria. She is a popular British Nigerian actress who won the maiden edition of the Annual GIAMA Screen Icon Search Competition in 2012.
