Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has disclosed that American rapper and singer Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar known as Cardi B, is his ex-lover. He admitted in a recent interview, that: “Cardi B is my ex-lover; if I go to America we date and if I come to Ghana we break…”.
The “GRINGO” crooner King Shatta Wale has revealed that he dated sexy American rapper/singer Belcalis Marlenis popularly known as Cardi B Almanzar before. Shatta Wale made these revelations in an Interview and jokingly said that “Cardi B is my ex-lover. If I go to America, we date and if I come to Ghana we break up…”
It would be recalled that El-Shatta mentioned Cardi B in his hit song Gringo, and revealed that he would love to date her because she’s beautiful. Meanwhile, El-Shatta also explained the reason why he featured only Nigerian artiste Olamide Adedeji on his ‘Reign’ album. He said, “I’ve found out that Olamide is one guy that has struggled, he’s one guy that has proven to Nigerians that he could make it to the top and, so, he has a story like mine.”
Shatta Wale is known for his constant and numerous diss against fellow colleges in the Industry, a typical example is Sarkodie when the Rapper has had enough of Shatta Wale. The rap icon who has over the past months suffered all forms of abuse from the dancehall artist has in a new video diss that went viral titled “My Advice” addressed Shatta Wale.

Some celebrities and fans reacted to the rapper”s diss video that went viral, even the popular Gospel singer Sonnie Badu had few words to say about the diss video. Sonnie Badu tweeted what could only mean his stance for the ongoing beef with the text: “King Sarrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkk dope ..” It dint end there, the “Baba” singer took hours to interact with followers who had a thing to say about his tweets.
Shatta who started it all by saying in an interview that: “I am talking about the problem that it is in the music industry that they know it’s a problem which they don’t want people to know, because when people know that right now Kwaw Kese is very poor, Sarkodie is poor….”
Sarkodie replied him in his diss video that: “Confidence is when you able to compliment people without you feeling insecure, so if you feel say you got it, no need to downplay the next man….You came from the ghetto, you made it I am proud of it. I gave you a long rope so just enjoy, I was waiting for you to snap out of it…”.

In 2014, he peaked to number 38 on E.tv’s “Top 100 Most Influential Ghanaians” Awards chart. He has since then appeared each year on the ranking chart. He was ranked as 2017 “Most Influential Musician” on Social Media.
