Kim Kardashian makes staggering $1 million a minute from sales of her new perfume

Lend us a fiver, would you Kim? Launching her new line of Kimoji fragrances on Tuesday (17 July), Kim Kardashian reportedly managed to rack up an eye-watering $1 million of sales a minute within the first five minutes of the perfumes going on sale. That’s £767,975 in one measly minute – or £3,839,875 in five measly minutes if the figures, which have been obtained by TMZ, are to be believed. Kim introduced the trio of new perfumes – Cherry, Vibes, and Peach, which are modeled after three of her popular Kimojis – this week, with the launch day tying in – of course – with World Emoji Day. Each scent retails for $45, so, er, you do the maths on the sheer amount of units she must’ve managed to shift once the floodgates opened.

Plenty of people have pointed that she’s not had to spend a penny on advertising, either. KKW’s social media standing is so huge and far-reaching that she can essentially advertise anything she wants through one Instagram post before then reaping the benefits. All in all, it wasn’t a bad day’s work for Kim – but it’s not the first time that she’s managed to rack up sales of $1 million a minute.
