Nigeria History and Facts on Twitter have just put up a picture of the first primary school which was built in Northern Nigeria.

The school which was founded in the year, 1865, is situated in the Kogi State capital, Lokoja, and was founded by Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther. It is known as the Holy Trinity Primary School.
