Nude Party: Kaduna Arraigns PDP Spokesman, Others For Attempted Adultery
The Kaduna State Government has arraigned the Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kaduna State, Abraham Alberah, and four others for alleged attempted adultery and organising a nude party in breach of the COVID-19 protocol. Alberah is the husband of Aisha Yakubu, the Asher Lounge owner, the venue of the botched sex party which was demolished by the Kaduna State Urban and Planning Development Authority on December 31, 2020.
The state government had stated that it demolished the building for hosting a nude party but later made a U-turn, saying that the main reason for the demolition was that the building had no approval. The party’s organisers had told the press that the proposed nude party never held and it was just a prank to attract attendees. The restaurant owner had also accused the police of extorting N120,000 from her and caused her to lose her pregnancy.
On Wednesday, however, the state government arraigned those operating the restaurant, the staff working there and the customers who organised the party. According to the charge sheet, the nude party had already begun on December 27, 2020, when police officers arrived at the scene, Punch reports. The accused persons, who were brought before Gabasawa Magistrate Court, were also accused of flouting the COVID-19 protocol and acting immorally.

Two ladies run mad after being dropped off by suspected yahoo boy
The capital city of Imo State, Owerri was thrown into confusion as two girls between the ages of 23 to 25 ran mad at Imo State University roundabout after being dropped off by a suspected yahoo boy.
DAILY POST gathered that the suspected yahoo boy drove in a Toyota Camry Spider car.
Eyewitnesses said the older lady, after being dropped at the junction, went stark naked and was threatening passersby with a kitchen knife.
Recall that same incident had happened at Ikenegbu junction sometime in 2018 when a lady went mad and caused serious traffic gridlock.
A bus driver (name withheld) who shared a bit of the story, said it was a tip of the iceberg for the year 2021.
He added that many girls are going to be used for rituals in the new year, especially those who are moved by flashy things.
He further advised parents and guardians to keep close tabs on their female children to save them from falling victims.

COVID-19: What Sanwo-Olu said after meeting with Buhari on Thursday
The Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, met behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
At the end of the meeting, Sanwo-Olu told State House correspondents how his government is managing the second wave of COVID-19.
The Governor also gave details about how they are trying to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed during the End SARS protests.
On COVID-19, Sanwo-Olu revealed that more patients in the state are in need of oxygen, hence the decision of his government to build 10 oxygen tents.
He said, “On COVID-19, it is actually a very serious case. We have all said it, we are in the second wave and incidentally, the second wave seems to be a bit more infectious than the first one, I mean the rate of infection and the number of people that we have seen. We still remain the epicentre, so what we have done is, we never stopped building capacity.

Again, Democrats move to impeach Trump
Following the invasion of Capitol Hill by supporters of President Trump in a bid to prevent certification of the 2020 presidential election, some members of the United States House of Representatives have kicked off impeachment process.
The supporters of Mr. Trump on Wednesday invaded the building following an inciting address by President Trump.
Alexandria Ocasio Cortex of New York on Thursday announced that some members of the House have drawn the article of impeachment to commence the process of impeaching Trump.
It would be recalled that Trump was impeached in 2019 but was subsequently acquitted by the Senate.
According to Ms Cortez, the Article of Impeachment was prepared and finalised by Ilhan Omar, a Somali born lawmaker who Trump has repeatedly attacked in the past.
Cortez tweeted, “Articles of impeachment have already been drafted and are ready for introduction. They were prepared and finalized by @IlhanMN while she was extracted in a secure location, and members are signing on.”
Earlier, Cortez called on the US Cabinet to trigger the 25th Amendment that will remove Mr Trump from office.

Bitcoin Surges to $40,000; Doubles in Less Than a Month
Bitcoin surged to $40,000 for the first time, doubling in value in less than a month and pushing the total market value of cryptocurrencies beyond $1 trillion.
Cryptocurrencies hit the milestone after a fivefold climb in market value in the past year, data from tracker CoinGecko shows. Strategists have cited demand from speculative retail traders, trend-following quant funds, the rich and even institutional investors as among the reasons for the surge.
Bitcoin rose as much as 11% on Thursday to $40,065 and has more than quadrupled in the past year, according to a composite of prices compiled by Bloomberg. It accounts for about two-thirds of cryptocurrency market value, followed by Ether at about 13%, according to CoinGecko data.
“Bitcoin continues to defy all expectations, and doubters,” said Antoni Trenchev, co-founder and managing partner of Nexo, a crypto lender. “It’s leaving all other assets trailing in its wake, like it’s done year in, year out for the past decade.”
Coinbase Inc., the largest U.S. digital exchange, said it’s experiencing “connectivity issues” on both the website and mobile app for a second day.

Manchester United sign Ivorian winger from Atalanta
Manchester United said on Thursday they have signed winger Amad Diallo from Italian side Atalanta, with the 18-year-old Ivorian putting pen to paper on a contract until June 2025. Financial details of the transfer were not disclosed but reports in the British media had it that Manchester United agreed to pay a base fee of 21 million euros (25.77 million dollars). However, 20 million euros are in add-ons. Manchester United said an agreement had been reached between the clubs on the last day of the summer transfer window in October. Personal terms and his work permit have now been finalised for a visa application. “As a club, we have followed Amad for a number of years and having watched him myself, I believe he is one of the most exciting young prospects in the game,” Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said.
