Outrage Trials EFCC’s Clampdown On Night Club In Osogbo; Here’s What Nigerians Are Saying

Outrage is presently trailing the EFCC’s clampdown on a night club in Osogbo where several people were reportedly arrested by men of the anti-graft agency.

In his reaction, twitter user OD_SIT, @I_amOD_SIT asked rather rhetorically if its only Yahoo Boys that visit night clubs as another twitter user, Táíwò Àlàbí HO2/ RegularGuy, @taiwoalabiho2 called out the anti-graft agency:

In a sharp response, twitter user identified as Táíwò Àlàbí HO2/ RegularGuy, @taiwoalabiho2 reacted saying ‘Dear @officialEFCC  you cannot storm a Night club & arrest people including workers of the club and called them all Yahoo Yahoo boys. Among the people you arrested are musicians, hypemen, and the club manager. This is uncalled for and unacceptable!’ while tagging the present Minister of Interior , Rauf Aregbesola in the tweet.

In an interesting twist to the reaction, another twitter user likened the new clampdown and style of operation of men of the anti-graft agency to that of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) who he opines have now turned something else:

Another twitter user, PROF. Mayor of the people Esq, @T_chidi_esq said it was just plain rubbish saying that the general labeling without processing so as to be seen to be effective is both childish and illegal. He says, ‘If i am anyone of those illegally arrested i will sue the hell out of them…rubbish’
