Tukur Buratai, Nigeria’a Army Chief has reportedly told soldiers who are accused of killing of three policemen and a civilian, as they were escorting a kidnap kingpin, known as Wadume, from Taraba to Abuja, that they will be punished if found guilty.

According to the New Telegraph, Buratai issued the threat at an event to declare open the combined second and third quarters COAS conference in Abuja.

According to Army Chief, investigations are already concluded just as he lamented that the saddening development remains a threat to inter-agency collaboration.

He harped on professionalism saying the security body would not lose focus on discipline and operation within its code of conduct and rules of engagement.

Recall that Wadume had since been rearrested by the Police.
