“They want to destroy Christians in the north”

The above statement from a twitter user, @Ralphmasterpri1, represents one of many reactions that have trailed the kidnap of a christian clergy in Nigeria’s northern state of Kaduna.

The pastor, whose name was yet to be given, was reportedly kidnapped by heavily armed men numbering over 20, on Wednesday.

Reports say he is the Pastor in charge of the Nagarta Baptist Church Ungwan Makiri, in Kaduna.

This latest abduction comes less than two weeks after another pastor (winner chapel), Jeremiah Omolewa, was Kidnapped and killed.
