Things seem to be getting out of hand as members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), continue to stage protests in the nation’s capital.

The protests which started out as non violent, have overtime blossomed into full scale violence.

On Monday, July 22nd 2019, it was a not a beautiful sight as members of the IMN once again clashed with men of the Police in Abuja.

In the course of the clash, a member of the Shi’ite group reportedly lost their life as the station of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was destroyed as well.

The members of the IMN have been involved in these protests which have now become violent as they are demanding for their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky to be released from detention.

The actions of the Islamic group have led to apprehension around the nation’s capital as citizens have reacted to these recent clashes.
