A mentally unstable man identified as Eligwe, has been killed after beheading six people in Rivers State.

The incident happen around 11pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, in Ebiriba 2 Community. It was gathered that Eligwe had been tied up by the villagers but his family members later untied him.

Shortly afterwards, he picked up a sharp cutlass and headed to his neighbor’s house, where beheaded 4 children then put their heads in a bucket. .

On his way home, he met and beheaded a 70 year old man. However, the community youth later mobilized and killed him too.
