After so many illicit act before, during and after the General Elections, Nigerian Police Force has again come under fire following the killing of a 14-year-old school girl who was murdered in cold blood by bullets accidentally discharged from an officer’s rifle.
It has been gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred in Adamo area of Ikorodu monday evening, which saw the young girl’s life cut short in her prime.
Information from a Twitter user, Fabian Mani, exclusively narrated that the incident happened when policemen were raiding pedestrians in the area.
A police man just killed a young girl this even in my area.
They stopped people at the bus stop to search, for whatever reason, they got a guy's iPhone.
And insisted he's a yahoo boy because he uses an iPhone.
The guy struggled with them to get his phone.

They accosted a young man who was being questioned on why he owned an iPhone if he wasn’t a ‘yahoo boy’.
The argument led to a misunderstanding which made one of the policemen carelessly fire his gun.
It was also learnt that the policemen fled the scene immediately thereby leaving their vehicle behind.

Another Twitter user, Ademola of Canada Ent. also reported that the major road leading to the area was blocked by protesting youths.
All vehicular movement was held on standstill till after the protest.
