A student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology,Ogbomoso has been declared wanted for stabbing a fellow student

A 400Level Student of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development named OWOLABI YUSUF ABIOLA (hon.YUSLUV) in company of ADESINA OLUWASEYI (hon. YOUNG PROF) of the department of Crop Production and Soil Science stabbed a 200level student of Pure and Applied Mathematics named BABATUNDE ALABI during a tutorial of STA207 at FPAS LECTURE THEATRE . it was gathered that the two culprits belong to a banned organization on campus named *NLV* and are famous for fermenting troubles, attacking students and lecturers at any instance.

Meanwhile, Men of the School security were present at the scene of the incident, We therefore look forward to the response from the school management to see to this menace as innocent Students are not secured on campus.

It will be recalled that last year the Oyo State Police Command, have arrested and paraded an undergraduate of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Abiodun Olabisi, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, Lekan Adegun, to death at their home in the Phoenix area of Ogbomosho on Wednesday, November 21st.

The state Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, who paraded her before newsmen on Wednesday, December 12th, said Olabisi and Lekan who is waiting for NYSC, were live-in-lovers.

On the day of the incident, they had a quarell that stemmed from petty jealousy and this degenerated into a fight that unfortunately led to Olabisi stabbing the deceased to death with a kitchen knife.

“The incident happened around 8pm on November 21, 2018, following a quarrel arising from petty jealousy. The victim was later rushed to the Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, but died before he could be attended to. The kitchen knife used to commit the murderous act has been recovered and the suspect has also been arraigned in court.” he said

The police boss added that the suspect would be arraigned in court once investigation has been concluded. Olabisi, a final year Biochemistry student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, is now cooling her heels at the Iyanganku police station, Ibadan, for allegedly killing her boyfriend.

It was gathered that Olabisi allegedly stabbed Adegun Lekan to death, on Thursday, over a yet to be disclosed matter. The deceased, who just finished from the Department of Transportation from same institution and waiting for clearance, is said to be the only son of his parents.
