The Simple Agenda of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to move Edo forward in all human endeavours was taken to Ikpako/Ekewan and its environs this week with a message that the road from Benin City to the town would receive massive repairs.
Speaking at a rally in Ekewan, the Senatorial leader of Ovia North East and Ovia South West, Hon. Benson Edosonmwan and the member, Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Vincent Uwadia told the large gathering of the people that they would be the beneficiary of the Simple Agenda that would transform the state into a Mecca of sorts.
Edosonmwan and Uwadia said that the farmers’ difficulties in transporting their goods to Benin City would be a thing of the past if POI is voted in as the governor of the state.
Uwadia heaped blames on Governor Godwin Obaseki for his lack of foresight in the last four years for not carrying out the repairs.
Edosonmwan sensitising the people threw a question at the crowd, asking them whether they benefitted from Obaseki’s purported Farmers’ loans in which they answered in the negative.
“Why should he enjoy another tenure,” he rhetorically asked. “Are we going to vote for him again?, the people yelled No.
They also said that Gelegele Port would receive the attention of POI if he becomes the governor of Edo State.
Meanwhile, the Ward Chairman, a retired top police officer, Mr. James Ailegboze assured the visitors that POI would have 100% votes from the town.
